Idealpos supports Quest WEX Australia Integrated Fuel Cards via the Quest EFTPOS integration.
Before proceeding to enable this functionality, note that you will need to contact Quest so that they can perform any additional configuration on their end to enable Quest WEX Australia Integrated Fuel Cards.
Also note that you will also need to be licensed to utilise this module.
Contact Idealpos or your reseller to purchase this module and have it enabled in your Licence Gateway.
To confirm that you are licensed for this module, go to: Back Office > Setup > Licence Gateway.
The licence for the terminal you are currently checking will be shown with a green background.
Ensure that "WEX Fuel Cards" appears in the Options column.
If Idealpos or your Reseller have just enabled the WEX Fuel Cards module for your licence, you may need to press the "Reload" button in the Licence Gateway window.
Once the licence has been reloaded, restart Idealpos to ensure that the module is active and proceed with the configuration steps listed further below.
To configure and use this function, ensure that your Quest EFTPOS terminal is configured and communicating with Idealpos.
Then go to: Back Office > Setup > POS Terminals > Select Terminal > Modify.
In the EFTPOS Settings tab, ensure that "WEX Fuel Cards" have been enabled.
You will also need to ensure that your Stock Items have been mapped to the appropriate Quest Product Code.
Go to: File > Stock Control > Stock Items.
Double-click on an item or select an item and press "Modify".
In The Stock Item window, go to the "Advanced" tab.
Towards the bottom-right corner of the window, enter the Quest Product Number, then press the "Save" button on the top-left corner of the window.
The Quest Product Number entered below is simply an example; ensure that you refer to your Quest Product Details for the correct number, then enter it into the field shown below.
Repeat this process for each Stock Item which has a corresponding Quest Product Number.
Once the Quest Product Numbers have been entered for all the applicable items, we recommend restarting Idealpos to ensure that the WEX Fuel Cards setting has been applied.
This concludes the Idealpos configuration for this function.
As noted further above, Quest may need to be contacted so they can perform additional configuration which may be required to enable this functionality.
